The SCOPE Framework is a recently developed framework to research open education by Virginia Clinton-Lisell, Jasmine Roberts-Crews, and Lindsey Gwozdz. SCOPE stands for:

The SCOPE framework was published in the International Review of Research in Open and Distributed Learning. Below is a table with the SCOPE concepts, definitions, and examples:
